THE CHANAKYA IMAGINE ATELIER 2026
On 21st and 22nd January, The Chanakya hosted the inaugural edition of the Luxury Art & Design Showcase: The Chanakya Imagine Atelier 2026—a curated two-day celebration of art and design spotlighting the luxury home and lifestyle brands housed on the second floor of The Chanakya.
The space unfolded as a gallery-like atelier, with curated artworks adorning the walls and thoughtfully placed installations throughout, creating a seamless dialogue between art and design. A distinguished curation of globally renowned and Indian design houses—including Baccarat, Lladró, L’Objet, Villeroy & Boch, Jay Strongwater, Shivan & Narresh Homes, Merci, Ravissant, and Janavi Home—came together, each bringing its unique design language to the showcase.
The programme featured a series of exclusively curated workshops and conversations, from The Spring Table with Villeroy & Boch, led by Suvarna Jain of Suvarna Jain Studio, to Lladró’s porcelain workshop. Intimate conversations around hosting and lifestyle unfolded with L’Objet and Amrita Thampi Mukherji, while Shivan & Narresh Homes hosted a culturally inspired soirée, sharing perspectives on luxury holiday living.
The experience was further enriched with Baccarat’s immersive VR journey, Jay Strongwater’s live art interpretation, and an introduction to European savoir-faire with Merci and Alexis de Ducla. An engaging session on coffee beans and the intricate art of brewing followed with Bili Hu’s artisanal coffee and matcha experience, adding warmth to the atelier.
